Newcastle Falcons cruise past 14-man Newport Gwent Dragons

Phil Godman got the home side off to a good start before Mark Wilson found the try line twice in the space of seven minutes.

The visitors brought Nic Cudd on in the second half, but he was sent off just over a minute after being introduced for a tip tackle on Adam Powell.

The dismissal ensured that Newcastle had an easy job defending their lead, and were able to add their fourth try late on through Fraser McKenzie.

The results moves Newcastle up to second in Pool 4.
