New Zealand winger Frank Halai is reportedly close to signing a deal with Wasps ahead of next season.

New Zealand winger Frank Halai is reportedly on the verge of joining Wasps ahead of next season.

The 26-year-old, who has won one cap for the All Blacks, currently plays his club rugby with Super Rugby side Blues.

However, he is expected to sign a deal with the Aviva Premiership outfit next week, according to The Telegraph.

Halai is seen as a replacement for Tom Varndell, who recently announced that he would be moving to Bristol for the 2015-16 campaign.
