London Wasps 18-13 London Irish

London Wasps have won for the first time in ten games, beating London Irish 18-13 at Adams Park this afternoon.

Fly-halfs Nicky Robinson and Steve Shingler traded a couple of penalties apiece in a largely uneventful opening half of action that finished six points each.

Robinson fired the hosts ahead after the break by adding another pair of penalties to his total, before Shingler converted Sailosi Tagicakibau's five points to take a late one-point lead.

However, Robinson scored his fifth and six penalties of the afternoon in the final ten minutes to come from behind and seal the game.
