London Irish sign Munster prop Alan Cotter

London Irish have signed Munster prop Alan Cotter on a short-term loan deal from Munster.

Cotter will provide cover for the injured Leo Halavatau and also John Ryan, who has returned to Munster.

"John Ryan did a fantastic job for us while he was here and we are sure Alan will make a similar impression," said London Irish manager Brian Smith.

The 25-year-old has been named on the bench for Saturday's match against Bath.
