Leinster take the Pro12 crown with 24-18 win over Ulster.

Leinster are the winners of the Pro12 title after defeating fellow Irish province Ulster 24-18 in a passionate final in Dublin.

Leinster led 16-6 at the interval after man-of-the-match Shane Jennings rumbled over for a try in the early stages, while Irish captain Jamie Heaslip barged his way to the line after the break to secure victory for the hosts.

Lions tourist Jonathan Sexton kicked 14 points, with South African Ruan Pienaar slotting over six penalties for the Ulstermen.

The match marked the end of Leinster coach Joe Schmidt's reign in Dublin as the New Zealander takes over as Ireland boss, having also brought Amlin Challenge Cup silverware to the province.
