Leinster bring in Australian veteran Lote Tuqiri

Leinster sign veteran Australian back Lote Tuqiri on a short-term deal.

Leinster have signed veteran Australian back Lote Tuqiri on a short-term deal.

Fijian-born Tuqiri, 33, most recently played for Australian club West Tigers in the Rugby League format, but now is back in Rugby Union with Leinster.

"A consummate professional, Lote has an enormous wealth of experience in the game and we believe that he will play an important role in the squad over the coming weeks," said Leinster coach Matt O'Connor.

Leinster have not specified how long Tuqiri will be staying with the club.
