Leicester Tigers 28-23 Sale Sharks

Toby Flood was in good form with the boot as Leicester Tigers emerged victorious in a high-scoring encounter with Sale Sharks this afternoon.

The England international scored a penalty-try, while also adding two conversions and three penalties to his individual tally.

Geordan Murphy and Alesana Tuilagi also got their names on the scoresheet for Leicester with tries.

Visiting Sale were kept in contention throughout thanks largely to Nick Macleod, who scored two conversions, two penalties and one drop goal.

Sale's tries came from Frazer McKenzie and Rob Miller.
