Leicester Tigers to face Worcester Warriors in Aviva Premiership Rugby opener

Aviva Premiership Rugby champions Leicester Tigers will begin the defence of their title on September 8 against Worcester Warriors.

The Tigers will kick off their campaign one day after their competitors, including Northampton Saints, who will take on Exeter Chiefs, while Harlequins face a clash against London Wasps at Twickenham on the opening weekend.

Following their round one encounter, the Tigers will travel to Bath Rugby in a match that will mark the 100th anniversary of games between the two clubs, while Harlequins will take on Northampton Saints at the Stoop.

Before the weekend's action of round one, Newcastle Falcons will go up against Bath on Friday, September 6 to kick off the start of the 2013-14 Premiership campaign.
