Leicester Tigers make double swoop

Leicester Tigers have completed the signings of Michele Rizzo and Aniseko Sio.

Italian international prop Rizzo, 31, joins the Aviva Premiership club from Treviso.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old prop Sio arrives at Welford Road from Vaimoso on his native island of Samoa.

"Michele Rizzo is an experienced player in Europe and at Test level, while Aniseko Sio is a young player who wants to come and develop his game with us," Leicester rugby director Richard Cockerill told the club's official website.

Leicester reached the Aviva Premiership semi-finals last season before losing to eventual champions Northampton Saints.
