Leicester Tigers captain Geordan Murphy admits that his side have been put in a "tough group" in this season's Heineken Cup.

Leicester Tigers captain Geordan Murphy has admitted that his side have not been handed a kind draw in the Heineken Cup.

The English club begin their campaign in France against four-time winners Toulouse on Saturday before they come up against RaboDirect Pro 12 champions Ospreys and Treviso.

"It's a tough group and we have our work cut out for us," Murphy told the Tigers' official website.

"If we are going to have ambitions of winning the Heineken Cup then we are going to have to beat the best teams at some stage."

Leicester became the first team to win consecutive Heineken Cup titles with their triumphs in 2001 and 2002.
