Cockerill praises Tigers' composure

Leicester coach Richard Cockerill has hailed his side's composure after their second-half comeback against Clermont.

Scrum-half Morgan Parra led the visitors to a nine-point lead at the break, with the Tigers on the brink of a European exit. However, the hosts fought back following the interval and fired themselves in front through fly-half Toby Flood.

"We were composed at half-time," Cockerill told Sky Sports News. "I didn't think we were overly poor in the first half, but we did give away too many turnovers and we also conceded a cheap try.

"That meant we were up against it because Clermont are a very good side, but we regrouped and turned things around.

"Reaching the quarter-finals is the priority. Who you might meet, and where, comes later."

Meanwhile, the Tigers will next travel to Worcester to take on Richard Hill's second-from-bottom side in the Aviva Premiership.
