Quins make it three from three in LV=Cup

Harlequins battled to a 23-6 win over London Welsh in the LV= Cup this afternoon.

Mark Lambert scored the only try of the first half as Harlequins took a 10-6 lead at the break.

Ben Botica helped open up the lead for the home side with a brace of penalties early in the first half, as the Exiles saw few scoring chances.

Dave Ward sealed the win for Quins five minutes from full time with the hosts' second try of the game.

Exeter's loss earlier today to Bath means that Harlequins will top their pool, winning all three games in the competition so far.
