Harlequins 9-19 Leicester
Two vital second half tries at The Stoop give Leicester Tigers a 19-9 victory over Harlequins in the LV Cup.

Two second-half tries have given Leicester an important 19-9 victory over Harlequins in the LV Cup.

Andy Forsyth ensured the Tigers got off to a flyer as he was able to find space and score a fifth-minute try which was converted successfully by George Ford.

A Rory Clegg penalty delivered the only points for Harlequins in a lacklustre first period.

Leicester looked a much sharper side in the second half and Alex Lewington stormed through the Harlequins defence to extend his side's lead.

Two Clegg penalties gave Harlequins a fighting chance but a converted Ben Woods try allowed the Tigers to breathe more easily.

Harlequins failed to put Leicester under any pressure in the final stages and the score remained 19-9 to the Tigers.
