Gloucester claimed their third home win of the season after they edged out London Irish 33-30 in a tight match at Kingsholm.
Two more penalties from Taylor extended the lead, before the West Country side were awarded a penalty try when Chris Hala'ufia was sin-binned for a high tackle on Olly Morgan, which allowed Gray to kick the ball to safety. Taylor kicked over again for the extras.
Topsy Ojo cut the lead when he touched down, with Homer kicking the conversion to make it 23-17 at the break.
Another penalty from Homer after the interval edged Irish closer to their opponents and a Steven Shingler try, converted by Homer, finally put them in front.
Hooker Darren Dawidiuk's try swung the tie Gloucester's way again, with Taylor completing the conversion.
Homer kicked over once more to level the scores just before the hour, but Freddie Burns' penalty on 62 minutes was enough to give the home side the win.
