Gloucester announce Jimmy Cowan signing

Cowan agrees Gloucester move
Highlanders and All Blacks scrum-half Jimmy Cowan will move to Gloucester next season, the club confirms.

Gloucester have confirmed that All Blacks scrum-half Jimmy Cowan will join the club next season.

The 30-year-old will make the switch to Kingsholm after completing his commitments with New Zealand, where he has has racked up over 50 caps.

Cowan, who was made captain of Super Rugby side Highlanders in 2009, reached a milestone recently by claiming his 100th appearance in the league.

The Gore-born player also featured four times for New Zealand during their campaign in the World Cup last year.
