Nemia Soqeta: 'Fiji focused on Wales clash'

Fiji will be "comfortable" playing in front of a packed Millennium Stadium crowd when they take on Wales next week, Nemia Soqeta tells Sports Mole.

Nemia Soqeta has warned Wales that Fiji will not be overawed by the crowd in their Rugby World Cup showdown next week.

The Pacific Islanders have suffered successive defeats in the showpiece tournament, despite putting in resilient performances against both England and Australia.

Soqeta believes that the experience of playing at a sold-out Twickenham for the curtain-raising fixture, on top of this evening's 28-13 defeat against the Wallabies, will stand his side in good stead for their meeting with Wales.

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what to expect from Wales at this stage," he told Sports Mole. "We haven't yet looked at them yet, but we will now go to the drawing board and will be focused on them.

"The [reception] today was a lot better for us compared to Twickenham. It certainly helped us a lot in certain areas.

"We are now comfortable with the crowd - that was one of the biggest worries we had beforehand. But it might be a different story when we play Wales."

Fiji, who have now lost each of their last five World Cup matches, meet Wales in Cardiff on October 1.
