Exeter Chiefs captain Dean Mumm has warned his side that they face a tough few weeks in the Aviva Premiership as they get ready to face three of the league's top teams.
The third-placed Chiefs travel to Northampton Saints on Friday before back-to-back home matches against Wasps and Saracens.
Mumm is happy with how Exeter have performed so far this season, but he believes that their campaign could be defined by the next set of fixtures.
"It's been a good start to the season, but the next three games are a real litmus test as to where we are," the Australian is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We come up against three of the top six sides in the Premiership, which is the focus for us this year."
Exeter head into Friday's trip to Northampton having won their last three matches in all competitions.
