Alun Wyn Jones admits that the British and Irish Lions' series win in Australia is "indescribable".

Alun Wyn Jones has claimed that the British and Irish Lions' series win in Australia is "indescribable".

The Lions clinched a first series win since 1997 as they beat the Wallabies 41-16 in Sydney on Saturday.

"It's a pretty indescribable feeling," the stand-in captain told Sky Sports News. "There was a lot of talk about selection in the week. I think we proved that despite all the talk the northern hemisphere is doing pretty well.

"We fronted up today and I think the scoreline reflected it and we represented the four countries with pride."

The Lions' previous triumph on tour came 16 years ago in South Africa.
