Andy Farrell says that facing Combined Country will be a test for the British and Irish Lions.

British and Irish Lions assistant coach Andy Farrell has no doubts that his side face a battle against Combined Country on Tuesday.

The encounter at the Hunter Stadium in Newcastle will represent the side's fourth match of the tour, and is expected to be the easiest of their travels so far.

However, Farrell believes that facing Country will still represent a great test for the tourists.

"For the 23 up against us it will be the biggest game of their lives and against anyone the opening 20 to 25 minutes are always going to be a battle when they come at you with intensity and guts," Farrell told The Express.

"But having said that, the start of the tour is always about us."

The match begins at 10.30am.
