Tommy Bowe says that British and Irish Lions still have a lot to improve on ahead of their Test series with Australia.

British and Irish Lions winger Tommy Bowe has no doubts that his side have more to improve on prior to their Test series with Australia.

The Ireland international was among the scorers as the tourists ran in nine tries to beat Western Force 69-17 in Perth on Wednesday, which came off the back of the weekend's 59-17 victory over the Barbarians.

However, while he is happy to have scored himself, Bowe insists that there is a lot more work for the Lions to do before they face the Wallabies.

"It is always great to get on the scoresheet," Bowe told Sky Sports News. "For us to get nine tries it was nice to get one and it is something to work on.

"I think as a team, though, we played some exciting rugby but we have a lot more to work on. We could have scored a lot more.

"It is good to have a match like that where there is stuff still to work on both in attack and defence."

The Lions face Queensland Reds on Saturday.
