Castrogiovanni to make Barbarians debut

Italy prop Martin Castrogiovanni will make his first ever appearance for the Barbarians when they face the British and Irish Lions on Saturday.

The 31-year-old, who played his final match for the Leicester Tigers in their Aviva Premiership final win over Northampton Saints on Saturday, has now joined up with the Baa-Baas ahead of the clash in Hong Kong.

The Barbarians, who are captained by Italian skipper Sergio Parisse, provide the opposition for the opening match of the Lions tour.
