New Zealand have made seven changes to their starting lineup for the World Cup quarter-final against Argentina on Sunday.

Sonny Bill Williams will start on the wing, while Colin Slade begins at fly-half in place of the injured Dan Carter.

Piri Weepu replaces Jimmy Cowan at scrum-half, and Richie McCaw is selected despite a foot problem.

Elsewhere, Mils Muliaina wins his 100th cap, while lock Brad Thorn and hooker Keven Mealamu are both recalled after being unused replacements in the All Blacks' match against Canada.
