Betfair Grand National sign up offer: Bet £10 get £50 in free bets

New Betfair customers get £50 in free bets after placing a £10 qualifying bet. The tokens come as 5 x £10 and are specifically for free bet builders, accumulators or multiples, not straight singles. With a full three-day festival card still to run, there’s plenty to build them into.

To claim:

  1. Sign up via the “Claim offer” link at the top of the page.
  2. Deposit using a debit card, Apple Pay or Pay by Bank.
  3. Place a £10 bet at minimum odds of evens (2.0) on any sportsbook market.
  4. Once your bet settles, 5 x £10 free bet tokens are credited to your account.

Free bets are valid for 30 days and can be used on any sport. The longer expiry gives you time to spread them beyond Aintree if you prefer.

Betfair Grand National analysis (Saturday, 4 pm)

The confirmed field of 34 goes to post on Saturday with Willie Mullins chasing a third straight National. I Am Maximus heads the market as the 2024 winner and last year’s runner-up, and carries top weight off 168 with Paul Townend aboard. He’s proven he handles this course and trip better than almost anything in the race, but that weight is real.

Grangeclare West is the second favourite after a dominant campaign. Jagwar ran Johnnywho to a length in the Cheltenham Ultima and rates as solid each-way material at a double-figure price. Johnnywho himself is hard to oppose. His Ultima win came on his first start back from a wind operation, and first-time-out bounce-back form at that level doesn’t come around often.

Panic Attack at 12/1 is worth including. Dan Skelton’s mare has been excellent all season and the yard consistently delivers in big-field festival handicaps.

One thing worth noting for Betfair specifically: the exchange gives you the option to lay horses you think won’t win, which is a different angle to the standard fixed-odds market. In a 34-runner race with significant attrition, laying short-priced runners is a strategy some experienced punters use alongside their sportsbook bets.

Betfair are also running a UK Trainers Multi and an Aintree Multi on the site today. The UK Trainers Multi with Lulamba (1/2), Jango Baie (5/4), The New Lion (2/1) is available at 9/1. The Aintree Multi with Koktail Divin (11/4), Impaire Et Passe (10/3), Barton Snow (6/4) is at 35/1. Both are pre-built selections that this top horse racing betting site have flagged for Thursday’s card.

Betfair Grand National offers for existing customers

  • 5 pm 10 April to 9 pm 11 April
