Wigan Warriors star Sam Tomkins left his rugby commitments behind to attend the premier of Man of Steel: Superman premier in London's Leicester Square.

The 24-year-old took to the red carpet with Sky Sports News to interview the stars of the film, including Superman actor Henry Cavill.

During the event, Tomkins also spoke to British boxer David Haye and actor Russell Crowe, who quizzed the player on his own rugby league future.

After meeting the stars of the film, Tomkins returned to the England camp at Loughborough University to prepare for their clash against the Exiles in Warrington on Friday.
