Michael Owen wanted for 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'I'm A Celebrity'

Stoke City striker Michael Owen has reportedly been considered by TV chiefs to appear on reality shows after his retirement.

The 33-year-old is due to hang up his boots at the end of the season, and is yet to confirm whether he will remain in the game or move into TV punditry.

It is understood that both the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ITV reality series I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here are keen to add Owen to their lineups, according to the Daily Star.

Owen will retire following stints at Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke.
