Premier League striker Peter Crouch officially opens new St Peter's Academy in Stoke.

Premier League striker Peter Crouch has left his football commitments behind momentarily to open a new academy in Stoke.

The Stoke City forward was asked to mark the opening of the St Peter's Academy's £32m building ahead of Sunday's league clash against Swansea City.

According to ITV News, the 32-year-old spoke to students at the academy before officially opening the new building.

The Potters are currently 17th in the league table.
