Scotland team queue with fans at airport Burger King in Georgia

Former Scotland international Pat Nevin hits out at the Scottish FA's organisation after the players queue with fans at an airport Burger King.

Former Scotland winger Pat Nevin has blasted the Scottish FA for the 'poor organisation' of the team's trip to Georgia for their Euro 2016 qualifier.

The ex-Chelsea player has criticised the governing body for not chartering a private plane for the match on Friday, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Gordon Strachan's side.

Nevin has revealed that the team queued with fans at a Burger King in the airport while they waited for their delayed flight.

"There was one piece of good organisation - the players lined up very well in front of Burger King, where they ate," The Mirror quotes Nevin as saying. "That's what they had, burger and chips. They had to refuel. There was no other food for them to have."

Scotland's Euro 2016 campaign took a further hit after their defeat to Georgia by recording a 3-2 loss to world champions Germany on Monday.
