Burglar sentenced to jail for raiding hotel room of Jose Mourinho's family

A male burglar has been sentenced to two years in jail for stealing over £100,000 worth of items from the hotel room of Jose Mourinho's wife and daughter.

Jamie Filan is behind the burglary, which included a Cartier pendant, a ring worth £51,450 belonging to Mourinho's wife Matilde.

The 33-year-old, who is believed to be an Arsenal fan, is thought to have taken an iPad and thousands of pounds' worth of jewellery from the five-star Wyndham Grand Hotel suite in London, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports have claimed that the thief asked the hotel concierge to book him a taxi after he had stolen the items.
