Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has allegedly been forced to change his phone number due to receiving death threats in relation to his challenge on Liverpool's Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final.
The Spaniard forced the Egypt international off through injury after they tussled for the same ball during Los Blancos' 3-1 victory in Kiev, and he has since received a torrent of abuse on social media.
According to COPE Network, Ramos and his family have also received threatening phone calls in relation to the incident, forcing them to change their numbers.
The Spain international's agent is said to have contacted police to report the abuse.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian national team have claimed that Salah is on course to recover from the shoulder injury he sustained in time for the World Cup.
