Joey Barton: 'A dictator needs to execute stupid people'

Marseille midfielder Joey Barton has delivered another controversial rant on Twitter by calling for "stupid people" to be executed.

The 30-year-old, who is on loan at the French club from Queens Park Rangers, is no stranger to being involved in rows on the social network site and has recently responded to negative messages towards him.

Barton tweeted: "So many annoying c**** on twitter. I really hope dictator takes control of Britain and starts executing the stupid. Stupid people breed stupid people. It's not rocket science."

Barton moved to the Ligue 1 outfit after picking up a 12-match ban at the end of last season for QPR.
