Video: Joey Barton tries a French accent for the second time in interview

Joey Barton has risked ridicule by putting on a French accent during an interview for the second time this season.

The 30-year-old, who is on loan at Marseille from Queens Park Rangers, became the butt of jokes when he spoke English with a French accent during a press conference in November.

The former Newcastle United midfielder had a second attempt during an interview with teammate Andre-Pierre Gignac for OMTVonline this week.

Following the interview, Barton wrote on Twitter: "Little teaser for my interview with @10APG (Gignac) to go on my site soon. Has my French accent improved??? Listen carefully!"
