Arsenal fans are left angry after a supporters' magazine is released with departed players Robin van Persie and Alex Song displayed in the publication.

Arsenal fans have been left fuming after a fans' magazine released by the Gunners displayed former striker Robin van Persie on the front cover.

The 29-year-old, who spent eight years with the North London club, left for Manchester United in the summer after the Netherlands international refused to sign a new contract at the Emirates.

Alex Song, who left the club for Barcelona three months ago, has also been included in the magazine.

"It is an absolute disgrace," Arsenal fan Elliot Gerner told the Daily Star. "They are the two most prominent players and neither of them play for us anymore.

"This is a season where they have put up the price of season tickets and sold our best players but they can't afford to reprint this. My son was supposed to be excited about his and instead he's asking why Van Persie is on the front."

The magazine was sent to supporters in a £20 membership pack for youngsters.
