Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen to join 'Loose Women' panel?

The wife of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reportedly being targeted by ITV bosses to join the panel of daytime chatshow Loose Women.

Coleen Rooney, who previously presented her own ITV2 show Coleen's Real Women, is believed to be wanted for next year's show in a bid to make the programme appeal to a younger audience.

As well as Coleen, Stoke City striker Peter Crouch's wife Abbey is also on the wishlist due to her successful stints as a presenter on This Morning and a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, according to the Daily Star.

ITV are said to have been earmarking a role for Coleen over the last few years.
