Manchester United have announced that they have secured a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Japanese food company Nissin.
The company, which is largely known for its noodles, will produce Manchester United branded products on a global scale during the first year of their partnership.
A statement on United's official website said: "As the biggest football club in the world, Manchester United is the perfect platform to help Nissin build on this association between food and sports and generating awareness on a global scale."
The former Premier League champions are preparing for the new season under manager Louis van Gaal, who is expected to begin working at his new club today after guiding the Netherlands to third place at the World Cup.
Earlier this week, United also announced that they have secured a record £750m kit deal with global sportswear giants Adidas.
