Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly mourning the death of his mother.
The former Malaga boss abandoned City's pre-season tour to return to his homeland Chile upon hearing the news that his mother's health had deteriorated.
Pellegrini will attend the funeral of the 91-year-old at the General Cemetery in Santiago today, according to El Mercurio.
Pellegrini's father passed away in April.
