Samir Nasri is banned from driving for six months for failing to inform police of who was behind the wheel on three driving offences.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been banned from driving after admitting three charges of motoring offences.

The former Arsenal star is thought to have originally signed a declaration claiming he was unaware that his Mercedes had been spotted by speed cameras.

Following the three separate speeding incidents, Nasri forced the authorities to give back £1,900 worth of fines, but the police launched their own investigation into Nasri's claims.

It has since emerged that the Frenchman has admitted the charges for failing to inform the police of who was behind the wheel, resulting in a six-month ban, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 25-year-old was also ordered to pay the fines again.
