Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has sent a good-luck message to all pupils returning to school for the new year.
The Italy international, who spent three years playing for Manchester City, recently joined Liverpool from AC Milan for a reported £16m fee.
The 24-year-old is expected to lead the Reds' attack against Aston Villa on Saturday, but before this weekend's match, Balotelli spared a thought for the kids returning to school.
On Instagram, the striker posted the message: "Hi kids, today starts school in most countries. It's like the beginning of the season in football. It's therefore time to start giving Your best as this helps shape your future. Good luck!"
