Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has donated £200,000 so that a school can be built in his hometown in Senegal.
Construction on the education facility in Bambaly will begin in the next few weeks thanks to the funding from the Reds star, according to The Sun.
Mane's uncle Sana Toure is said to have presented the cheque at a ceremony and read out a statement on behalf of his nephew.
"Education is very important. This is what will enable you to have a good career," he read aloud to an audience comprised of local youngsters.
Mane has scored 17 times in 39 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this season.
