Steven Gerrard 'visits London nightclub after Liverpool's FA Cup exit'

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard decided to spend some time at a nightclub in London after his side failed to reach the FA Cup final.

The midfielder was hopeful of ending his final season at Liverpool with silverware on his 35th birthday on May 30, but it isn't to be as his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in the semi-finals.

According to the Daily Mail, Gerrard spent the evening in the VIP room of Boujis nightclub in Kensington with friends.

Gerrard is preparing to call an end to his 25-year career at Anfield when he joins MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer.
