Steven Gerrard, wife Alex settle into LA life by dining at The Ivy

Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has only been living in Los Angeles for two days but he and his wife Alex have already been spotted dining at celebrity hotspots.

The midfielder, who ended his 17-year Liverpool career in May, will be unveiled by his new club Los Angeles Galaxy at half time of Saturday's MLS clash against Toronto.

After touching down in California at the weekend, Gerrard and his wife were spotted heading to restaurant Boa, which was also visited by rapper P Diddy, according to the Daily Mail.

Alex, who has three daughters - Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, nine, and three-year-old Lourdes - with the footballer, also tweeted a photo of the couple having lunch at The Ivy.

Gerrard is expected to make his LA Galaxy debut on July 11 against Club America.
