David Beckham's representative has denied rumours that the LA Galaxy midfielder and Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins had an affair.
Jenkins had already rejected rumours cropping up on Twitter that Beckham had cheated on his wife Victoria with her.
"Unfortunately, we have to deal with this type of nonsense on Twitter," a representative of the former Manchester United star is quoted as saying in Marie Claire.
"One minute David is dead, then the more scurrilous rumours, there is no truth to any of it."
Rumours regarding Beckham's alleged affair with the 32-year-old Jenkins began on the social networking site last week.
