David Beckham hands over Los Angeles Galaxy shirt to delighted female fan

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham perked up one female fan following the club's defeat at the weekend by handing over his shirt and giving her a hug.

The former England captain strolled over to the group of supporters in the stands and took off his number 23 shirt and handed it to a grinning blond, who then reached out to hug the 37-year-old in gratitude.

The gesture came after the LA side were beaten 2-1 by Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening on home turf.

Beckham continued to shake hands with fans before heading back into the dressing room.
