NBA star Lamar Odom 'wants to avoid rehab'

Former Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom has reportedly insisted that he will not enter rehab to kick his alleged drug addiction.

The 33-year-old was dropped by the club following reports of cocaine use and his marriage to reality television star Khloe Kardashian is said to be suffering.

It is understood that Odom is open to having private help, but will not enter a rehab facility after revealing that he has been sober for five days, according to TMZ.

Odom is also said to be keen on reviving his basketball career.
