Russian footballer 'smashes car into pole'

Russian footballer Andrey Yeshchenko has reportedly been caught on CCTV smashing his car into a pole while driving at 105 miles an hour.

The 31-year-old, who is currently on loan at Kuban Krasnodar from Anzhi Makhachkala, is believed to have been driving the Nissan GTR when it veered off the road and into a pole.

Kuban have refused to discuss the footage, which shows the pole collapse to the ground, amid rumours that Yeshchenko was drunk while behind the wheel, according to 101greatgoals.com.
