Ipswich Town midfielder Guraine N'Daw is reportedly banned from contacting his wife following a charge of actual bodily harm placed against him.

Ipswich Town midfielder Guraine N'Daw has reportedly been banned from contacting his wife following an alleged assault.

The 28-year-old was charged by police with causing his wife Bigue Ndiaye N'Daw actual bodily harm last month following an arrest at Ipswich Hospital.

N'Daw was bailed until next Tuesday following his inability to enter a plea due to the absence of a French interpreter, and was banned from contacting his wife as well as ordered to hand in his Senegalese and French ID cards, according to the Daily Mail.

The midfielder's solicitor Sumeer Chaudhry told South East Suffolk magistrates that his client intends to plead not guilty.
