Hull City's Curtis Davies laughs off battle scars from Capital One Cup clash

Hull City defender Curtis Davies has revealed the battle scars left on his face following last night's Capital One Cup clash against Swansea City.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa made headlines at the weekend for leaving scratches on the neck of Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista in Saturday's 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

It appears that Davies was left in a worse state at the KC Stadium last night during the team's 1-0 triumph over Swansea City in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

Alongside a picture of the scratches, Davies tweeted: "And they say Diego Costa is 'physical' #Scarface #Claws."
