Keith Mason sues Huddersfield Giants over Twitter photo of teammate's backside

Keith Mason has reportedly begun legal proceedings against Huddersfield Giants following his sacking over a Twitter photo of his teammate's backside.

The 31-year-old was dismissed by the club for gross misconduct after a photo of Scott Moore's behind was uploaded onto Mason's Twitter account and remained online for 48 hours.

Mason, who has claimed that he was unaware that the photo had been taken while the prop celebrated the end of last season, is suing the club for £300,000, according to the Daily Mail.

The hearing began at Leeds High Court on Monday.
