Sprinklers soak band at Germany match

A military band was left drenched after sprinklers were switched on during their pre-match performance at Germany's friendly against Argentina.

The musicians took to the pitch ahead of the World Cup final re-match last night, which the home side lost 4-2.

However, the sprinkler system was turned on while they were performing, leaving the band and their instruments soaking.

Germany beat Argentina in extra time in the World Cup final in Brazil in July.
