Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo: 'Michael Schumacher condition not good'

Luca di Montezemolo reveals that the condition of former Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher is "not good" as he continues to receive treatment for a skiing accident.

Michel Schumacher's former Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo has revealed that the German's condition is "not good" as he tries to recover from a serious skiing accident.

Schumacher, 47, is still receiving treatment at his home in Switzerland following head injuries he suffered in France a little over two years ago and updates on his condition have been infrequent.

However, Di Montezemolo revealed today that things were not looking good for the seven-time Formula 1 world champion.

"I have news and unfortunately it is not good," the Daily Mail quotes Di Montezemolo as saying.

"Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999."

Schumacher's representatives have not commented on Di Montezemolo's brief words.
