Everton stars meet actor Matt Damon in Los Angeles

A number of Everton players rubbed shoulders with Hollywood actor Matt Damon this week while in Los Angeles.

Leon Osman, Kevin Mirallas and Leighton Baines met the 42-year-old while at the Beverley Hills hotel, where Damon was promoting his new sci-fi film Elysium.

Upon meeting the Hollywood star, the trio posed for photographs and gave Damon a signed Everton shirt, according to the Daily Mail.

The Bourne trilogy actor attended a football match between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in 2010.
